Stage 1 LIFTED – MILD Water Shortage Condition – NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
Michael Keene, Mayor, City of Dodd City, Texas, has determined that continued Implementation of applicable provisions of the City’s Drought Contingency Plan is NO LONGER NECESSARY. The City’s only Elevated Water Storage Tank and one (1) of the City’s Ground Water Storage Tanks have been repaired and refurbished and are now back in service. Therefore, effective August 11, 2026, Stage 1 – Mild Water Shortage Condition is Lifted and No Longer in Effect. However, due to weather forecasts of continuing extreme temperatures, City of Dodd City Municipal Water Customers are requested to voluntarily practice good water conservation measures.
